Tianqi Liao: Utopian Visions
What drives our enduring fascination with the idea of "utopia?" In the exhibition Tianqi Liao: Utopian Visions, the artist delved into this “no place” concept, using 20 varied photographs that hint at an unresolved tension between the age-old fantasy and its tangible realization. These photographs were curated in groups to evoke various dialogues, subtly engaging the audience's imagination without providing explicit explanations. Among the purified color, eerie tone, and hyperrealistic scenarios, Tianqi Liao's work probes societal perfection and its fragile boundaries.
